Mr & Mrs Hooke had recently moved over from America into a new property that had an Air source heat pump and underfloor heating.
They were both keen on a solar panel and battery solution following recent short duration power cuts.
Understanding this requirement, Pipe&Cable advised that as standard a solar and battery system does not operate during a power cut, however we can specify and optional “back-up box” which during a power cut would provide power to selected “critical” circuits giving power and lighting where preferred.
This was the perfect solution and Pipe&Cable installed 32 solar panels and 10kwh of battery storage with the back-up box included.

The roof was a “standing seam” roof which with our extensive knowledge of solutions, we were able to source a specialist mounting system to fit to this type of roof.

batteries and back up box.
